In India, it would not be complete without the fine and genuine jewelries worn by the bride during that most special day. As it is believed to be a very sacred ceremony of unison of two souls. It is not just some sort of for he sake of fashion to make the bride look fascinating and alluring, but it is also a part of their rich culture. Wearing of special stones may also signify the importance of women for them. It is also giving credit and giving praises to the essence of women the community. There are lots of Jewelries worn by Indian brides during their wedding. Lets start of from head to foot. The head dress or Tiara is very noticeable when they stand in front of the ceremony. It is worn in the forehead or head like a crown and let their long hair flow under it. It is usually made of Gold and is like a string usually with centerpiece made of Gold or silver depending on the motif of the whole wedding.

The centerpiece may be made of gemstones or just plain gold. Another jewelry worn by the bride is the nose ring. It is like a nose stud with chain attached to the hair of the bride. It will not be complete without the Indian Necklace and earring set which is usually matched with each other. Most Indian Brides wants to have it to compliment to all the jewelries that they wear. The necklace is usually big and noticeable. It may have a huge pendant that is matched to the totality of the bride.

In the Middle part of the body, most particularly in the hands, there should be bangles with it. It is usually made out of glass, ivory or gold. In the fingers, all fingers have rings. It also compliments to the bracelet that he bride is wearing. The very common yet adored by many is the diamond ring that gives a little highlight to the jewelries. They also have this heavy piece of jewelry in which they wear around their waist like a waist band made out of gold and stones. These are commonly worn by traditional kinds of brides but it is not really compulsory for them to wear. These where believed to be sacred for them however, as evolution takes place and it has already become optional nowadays.

In the lower part of the bride, anklets and foot bands will be seen. These are usually made out of Gold and complimented by precious and colorful stones. Toe rings are also believed to be one of the most essential jewels of the bride. This may mean a woman is married and worn in pairs.
